In 1994 I created the World Cup Anthem under the name Joey Bounce (Can you "Bounce" a soccer ball?). I created 40 or 50 cassettes with my Double Cassette Recorder (Remember High Speed Dubbing?) and distributed them around Melbourne Australia. You can hear this Bandcamp exclusive, on Track 4.

Today, I have a new recreation of the World Cup Anthem for you.

Dedicated to legendary football (Soccer) broadcaster Les Murray.
A special thanks also goes out to the unmistakable voice of football commentator Simon Hill.
